I am taking a breather from my monthly newsletters, for a little while.
And I wanted to let you all know why, rather than just stop.
Since Covid I have seen MOVEMENT as becoming a bigger and bigger part of what I do. I talk about movement and exercise with pretty much every client, yet there has been a limit to how far this coaching can go, as I am not currently qualified in this area.
At the same time, I have recognised in my own life I need to move around more too. Coach and move, move and coach. So .....
I am going to be a MOVEMENT COACH.
So, I am now training with a local professionally accredited Personal Training School. Exciting, challenging, new.
For the foreseeable future my Blossom priorities are
- clients
- and studying.
A load of other stuff needs to be paused to give me time and headspace. I am setting some boundaries here.
ACCOUNTABILITY
You might wonder why I am putting myself out there like this (which doesn’t come naturally to me), when I could have just gone quiet.
The reason is accountability.
One of the main features of coaching is accountability, many clients mention that word in their initial sessions, they want to be held accountable for their actions.
Now, I feel the same. What I am about to do won’t be easy for me (on top of an already busy life) and I want some accountability on this. By telling you, there is no going back.
BUILDING THIS INTO BLOSSOM
When I have qualified, this is how I see my new qualification working for clients.
- Disordered eating clients – focusing on movement to get in touch with the body, helping feel feelings, encouraging moving for pleasure
- Menopause clients – I am considering further specialty qualifications in menopause movement as this is SO essential to wellbeing.
- Weight loss clients – helping clients integrate the most helpful, enjoyable forms of exercise + daily movement
- Stress management clients – my current clients often hear me say ‘Stress needs to have somewhere to go’. It needs an outlet. I want to help clients with that
- Healthy ageing clients – again, movement is SO crucial to this I want to work with clients to create daily habits and integrated exercise routines to keep them mobile, flexible, and fit
I will be offering zoom packages for both health coaching and movement sessions. Plus helping clients come up with weekly movement plans, just like a food plan.
And hopefully one to one sessions with clients on zoom + face to face movement in my local area of Newton Abbot of Devon
Exciting stuff!
TAKE CARE FOR NOW
So, I wish you all health, wellness, and calm balanced living for the rest of this summer.
I hope to be back in touch again later this year with news of my new qualification and services.
In the meantime, my recipes and blogs remain on my website, please do check them out.
I do still want to hear from you, and of course my business does absolutely remain open for coaching new and existing clients.
Please do get in touch if I can help you in any way.
